Join Our Team as a Principal Commercial Officer!
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (3 days per week on-site)
Salary: Circa £50,000
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Principal Commercial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Team. Your responsibilities will include:

Contract Management: Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts and commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
*
Support & Administration: Provide contract management support, including administration, managing changes, and overseeing contract closure.
*
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a high degree of customer focus.
*
Team Development: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proven experience in drafting, writing, and negotiating contracts.
* Demonstrated ability in client/customer relationship management.
* Confidence in presenting to senior management forums.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of contract terms, types, and commercial risks.
* Experience in the defence sector.
* Background in managing and developing others.
* Business acumen and knowledge of Submarines products.
