Programme Support Officer – Skills and Employability Team
Position located in Staffordshire Place 1, Stafford town, with the option to work remotely. This is a 2‑year fixed‑term role.

Responsibilities
* Review the return of information from Providers and Programme participants, producing accurate and complete records and ensuring timely payments of funding.
* Administer telephone and electronic correspondence with Providers and Programme participants and colleagues to ensure that enquiries are actioned efficiently and effectively.
* Support the procurement process and issuance of annual contracts by requesting due‑diligence documentation, maintaining records, and monitoring the return of documentation to demonstrate procurement and contract compliance.
* Support the quality management processes and procedures by producing documentation in MS Office.
* Assist staff with decision making and the future development of the service by accessing and presenting data as requested (formatted spreadsheets, tables and graphs).
* Support the Programme Team with internal and external audits and preparation for inspection by external agencies through administrative tasks.
Ideal Candidate
* Educated to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of contract compliance.
* Demonstrable IT skills to support the development and delivery of quality systems, including digital formats.
* Experience working in an administration/support role, including for internal and external audits.
* Effective interpersonal skills; listening, verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, across services and with external partners.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to present data that is accurate, well‑presented and easy to use for the intended audience.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
