What You’ll Do
* Perform reactive and proactive mechanical maintenance, repairs and installations on heating, ventilation, chilled water and BMS systems. Some general building repair duties may also be required.
* Conduct fault‑finding diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
* Work safely under mechanical permit systems and adhere to health & safety regulations.
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections.
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure fast and efficient responses to breakdowns.
* Participate in the on‑call roster to provide essential support.
* Work with tools, access equipment and occasionally drive company vehicles as required.
What You Bring
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a similar role.
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
* Knowledge of heating, ventilation and building energy management systems.
* Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
* Willingness to learn new techniques and share knowledge with colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package Description
Job Type: Full‑time
Department: Technical Services – Healthcare
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:00‑16:30
Pay: Circa £36,500 per annum
Additional pay through occasional on‑call duties and overtime
