Technical Sales Engineer / Administrator

We are working with an established business within the wastewater industry to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer / Administrator. This is a varied role combining technical expertise with sales support and customer relationship management.
The Role
You will act as a key link between technical delivery and sales, supporting customer enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring solutions are technically sound and commercially viable. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and customers to deliver high levels of service and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver technical presentations to customers (in-person or virtual)
* Provide technical input to support accurate quotations and solution design
* Act as a key contact for service contract customers, managing enquiries and reporting
* Coordinate responses between operations, planning, and sales teams
* Support customers in selecting appropriate products and systems
* Assist the sales team with enquiries, proposals, and contract negotiations
* Contribute to product development and improvement recommendations
* Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction
* Monitor and manage shared sales inboxes and incoming enquiries
* Support service and maintenance agreement administration
* Assist with customer feedback, reporting, and marketing content
* Maintain accurate records and support KPI reporting
About You
Essential:
* Experience in a technical sales or technical support role
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Customer-focused with strong problem-solving ability
Desirable:
* Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
* Background in wastewater or building services industries
