We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Are you looking to gain experience and help others live the best lives possible?

Do you hold a UK driving license and have your own car?

We are recruiting for Support Workers in our Jedburgh outreach service and the hourly rate is £13.01 per hour.

We are currently recruiting for 30 - 37.5 hour per week, working a varied shift pattern (including some weekends)

We provide no overnight support, so there's no need to work waking nights or sleepovers!

Our Support Workers support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live their daily lives. This can include:

1. Supporting with medication
2. Encouraging the people we support to maintain their own home and finances
3. Assisting people with personal care
4. Supporting the person to be active in their community and build fantastic friendships

You'll be joining a leading social care charity in a role where you can transform someone else’s life while transforming your own too! Whatever your background, there’s a rewarding career in care for you – one where you can follow your passions and learn new skills too.

This is an outreach service, so you will be supporting people in Jedburgh, Selkirk, Hawick and surrounding towns. This will require use of your own car and mileage is reimbursed at 45p per mile and you would be paid for travel between different locations.

Your values:

The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun!

We like people who are reliable and honest, so the people we support can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart.
