Health & Safety Manager Location: Wrexham Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 package Confidential – Leading Main Contractor A leading UK main contractor is seeking a talented Health & Safety Manager to join their team, supporting major projects across Wrexham and the wider region. This is a key role within a fast-paced, high-performing construction environment, offering long-term progression and the chance to take ownership of health & safety on projects exceeding £50m in value. The Opportunity You will play a critical role in ensuring all projects remain safe, compliant and aligned with company and statutory requirements. Working closely with site teams, project managers and senior leadership, you’ll embed a strong safety culture across fast-paced, complex schemes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, develop and implement the company’s Health & Safety strategy across multiple live projects • Ensure full compliance with legislation, industry standards and internal policies • Carry out regular site audits, inspections and reporting • Provide guidance, coaching and training to project teams and subcontractors • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and improve site safety performance • Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors and project stakeholders • Support pre-construction planning, RAMS reviews and high-risk activity management Ideal Background: • Proven Health & Safety management experience within main contracting • Track record delivering safety leadership on projects £50m • Experience working on fast programme construction environments • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and UK construction H&S legislation • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (preferred) If you’re an experienced Health & Safety Manager looking to step into a high-impact role on major schemes, we’d like to hear from you.
