Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for dedicated and nurturing 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a range of secondary schools in the Dover area. This role will be full time to start ASAP until July 2025 and the daily rate will be between £88.94 - £100 depending on experience.
The role:
* Working as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant with a student with SEN
* Providing individualised support to help them access the curriculum and achieve the learning goals
* Building trust and a strong supportive relationship with the student
* Assisting with academic tasks and classroom activities
* Working closely with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs or a relevant qualification is preferred but not essential
* Understanding the different learning styles to support the student
* Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills
* Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police check (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years employment history where possible
