This is a temporary position of up to 10 months.
As a Housing Assistant, you will play a vital role at the heart of our Tenancy Management team.
By providing essential administrative support, you will help free up colleagues so they can spend more time out in our communities supporting residents where it matters most.
This is more than an admin role – it is your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
Responsibilities
* Keeping processes running smoothly behind the scenes
* Helping colleagues stay out in our communities, supporting residents
* Communicating with customers in a friendly, professional and empathetic way
* Ensuring resident voices are heard and reflected in the services we deliver
* Occasionally visiting our estates, so you will need to be confident working independently on-site

We’re looking for someone positive, organised, and motivated to make a difference.
You might already have administrative experience or thrive in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

* Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Enjoy working with people and building positive relationships
* Communicate clearly and show empathy in sensitive situations
* Are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Can work both independently and as part of a team
* Stay accurate and focused, even when things get busy
* Are adaptable, proactive, and ready to learn
An understanding of social housing or working with diverse communities is helpful – but what really matters is your commitment to people.
