Role Summary
Retail Stock Counter / Retail Stock Assistant – working with handheld scanners to count and manage stock across various retail sites. This role may require standing for long periods and using equipment to reach high shelves.
Typical Working Hours
Typical working week consists of 3–4 shifts of 8–12 hours. Unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights, may be required.
Key Skills / Experience Required
* Minimum age of 18 years or over.
* Ability to work long shifts and stand for prolonged periods.
* Good attitude, self‑motivated, and quick learner to adapt to technology changes.
* Experience handling stock is an advantage but not essential.
* Availability to work throughout June and July.
* Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and night shifts.
Location
Dudley, with travel to various retail customer sites. Certain locations offer minibus transport.
Responsibilities
* Use a handheld scanner to count stock accurately.
* Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately across assigned sites.
* Use access equipment occasionally to reach high stock.
