Are you an organised and people-focused HR Administrator looking for your next step?

We're delighted to be supporting a well-established UK industrial business in Stoke-on-Trent as they look to appoint a People Administrator on a part‑time basis to join their growing People Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive HR function where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of people processes while contributing ideas to improve how things are done.


The Role

As People Administrator, you'll support the day‑to‑day operations of the People Team, providing high‑quality administrative support while ensuring employee data, documentation and processes are managed with accuracy and confidentiality.

You'll work closely with colleagues across HR and the wider business, supporting a range of activities including recruitment administration, employee queries, HR systems management and People initiatives.

This role is 25 hours per week to be worked of your own choosing, offering a great level of work/life balance.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy
* Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other employee documentation.
* Assist with recruitment administration, supporting hiring activity up to contract stage.
* Respond to payroll and benefits queries by liaising with relevant departments.
* Act as a first point of contact for People‑related queries.
* Provide guidance on policies and processes or elevate when appropriate.
* Contribute ideas and support People Team projects aimed at improving employee experience and engagement.


About You

* Previous experience in an HR or People Administration role
* A friendly, approachable style with strong customer service skills
* Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* A positive and proactive approach to problem solving

(A CIPD Level 3 qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.)
