About the role
We are seeking dedicated and reliable supply teachers to cover planned and unplanned teacher absences in our partner schools across the South Birmingham area. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across different year groups.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Following school policies and procedures, including those for behaviour management.
Adapting to different school environments and routines at short notice.
Communicating effectively with school staff, including teaching assistants.About you
We are looking for a supply teacher who is not only qualified but also passionate and professional. The ideal candidate will be:
A holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experienced in a UK school setting.
Adaptable, flexible, and capable of thinking quickly on their feet.
Confident in their classroom management abilities.
Reliable and punctual, with excellent communication skills.
