The Role
The Senior Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives across the UK Civil Nuclear and Defence markets. Responsibilities include developing and executing market development strategies, identifying emerging trends, and leading bid and proposal efforts for major infrastructure frameworks. You will build and maintain relationships with government bodies, industry partners, and key stakeholders while collaborating with internal teams to shape compelling value propositions. Your daily actions will involve prospect qualification, opportunity pursuit, and reporting on pipeline progress.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven senior-level experience in business development within the UK Civil Nuclear and/or Defence sectors.
Extensive network within regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders.
Expert in complex bid management and strategic sales processes.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a matrixed environment.
