Your Role
We are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our 2026 Graduate Programme, based in Reading. As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your structural engineering expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
You'll join our large and supportive structures team in the Reading office, working closely with key clients to deliver successful building projects from initial concept through to construction. You will gain experience across projects of varying scales and sectors, including education, regeneration, refurbishment, healthcare, logistics, technology, and commercial.
Key Responsibilities
* Support senior staff with concept and preliminary designs.
* Undertake structural calculations and review drawings.
* Produce sketches and detailed designs.
* Carry out site visits and inspections.
* Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Tools and Software
* Learn and use a range of software, including Tekla, STAAD.Pro, and more.
About You
