INTERNAL ONLY: Senior HR Advisor

About the role:
To be one of the main points of contact for managers/schools for HR queries to advise on employee relations case work and provide a comprehensive HR Advisory Service. To mange casework and drive performance and learning amongst the HR Advisor team, ensuing timely completion of cases.
Providing support to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and service areas in achieving the Councils Sustainable Powys plans and management of change projects, including transformation.
Work closely with the HR Manager and HRBPs to ensure cohesion and consistency across the HR Team.

What you will do:
You will manage a team of HR Advisors and work closely with the HRBPs to manage case work across the council and support management of change and transformation projects.
You will cover all aspects of HR including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, recruitment and other management of change.
You will support hearing panels, where appropriate and advice on outcome consistent with best practice and employment law.
Engage in continuous improvement of policy and guidance supporting the wider HR team to achieve objectives and service development.
