The role As a Quality Control Inspector - Structural you ll have a role that s out of the ordinary. The Post Holder shall support the Quality Manager in ensuring the Type 31 Royal Navy Frigate Quality and Governance Objectives are achieved and support Quality Improvement initiatives across the Type 31 project. Day to day, you ll manage the inspection test report (ITR) inspection regime and maintain completion records within CMS, as well as: The structural inspection and acceptance of ships structures Provide close liaison with Lloyds Register (LR) and other inspection and verification bodies as required. Manage the ITR inspection regime and maintain completion records within CMS. Manage and coordinate LR inspections and co-ordinating their inspection diary.
