HG Vehicle Technician, BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

Bridgend County Borough Council works in collaboration with South Wales Police to maintain its Fleet of up to 350 vehicles across the County of Bridgend. We are looking for a qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 to join our busy workshop located in the Bridgend area.
You will need a good understanding of a workshop environment and familiarity with workshop tools and equipment, all of which will be provided on starting, along with PPE. You will have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to repair all aspects of vehicles and Council equipment. Continual training will be offered to support our Zero Carbon vision for 2027.
Working hours: 07:00 – 17:00. No weekend work unless paid as overtime when demands prevail.
