We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service and Network Team Manager in Plymouth. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £35,609 - £54,392 + benefits.
About the role:
You will manage the Waste Water Service Field Delivery Team, ensuring excellent network service, performance, training, and development, supporting the WWN Operations Manager in achieving business targets.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Engaging with and supporting the field team to meet targets
2. Ensuring safety and promoting a safety culture
3. Supporting customer communication to enhance customer experience
4. Managing work dispatch and resource allocation
5. Supporting planning, scheduling, and operational issues
6. Collaborating with Asset Management for timely work execution
7. Maintaining up-to-date work schedules
8. Motivating and engaging the team, fostering a positive environment
9. Communicating regularly through meetings and one-on-ones
10. Managing team performance and training needs
11. Supporting progression schemes and asset improvement bids
12. Participating in standby and weekend rotations
13. Representing the manager at meetings when needed
What we are looking for:
1. Willingness to participate in standby and weekend rotations
2. Full UK Driver’s Licence and ability to travel
3. Educational qualifications (A Levels, GCSEs, or equivalent)
4. Management qualification and experience
5. WAMITAB certification or willingness to achieve
6. Health & Safety qualifications or willingness to attain
7. At least 3 years in customer service or supervisory roles
8. Excellent communication and organizational skills
9. Knowledge of processes, systems, and legislation
10. Effective IT skills and team-building abilities
11. Leadership qualities and motivational skills
