Delta Wellbeing is an award-winning local authority trading company and a centre of excellence for Technology Enabled Care. It provides 24/7 bilingual call monitoring and other support services including telecare and telehealth alarm monitoring, TEC installation, community welfare response, lone working monitoring and out-of-hours housing repairs to local authorities, health boards, housing associations, educational settings, private companies and residents.
We are expanding our team of Customer Assistants and are looking for excellent communicators with a passion for helping people, especially during emergencies. Delta Wellbeing adopts an anonymous recruitment approach; recruiting managers will not have access to personal information, including your name and contact details, until a shortlisting decision has been made. Responsibilities
As a customer assistant, you will be at the frontline of delivering exceptional customer service. You will:
* Handle inbound calls from customers in need of urgent out-of-hours assistance
* Efficiently allocate jobs to contractors
* Ensure timely responses to emergencies
* Demonstrate empathy and calmness in a fast-paced environment
* Support accessibility and communication needs, including Welsh language requirements
Requirements and qualifications
* Full flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
* Good understanding of computers with knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Awareness of issues when working with older or vulnerable people (desirable)
* Information about social care/other local authority or housing association services and GDPR knowledge (desirable)
* Ability to communicate in Welsh (Level 3) with reasonable support provided on appointment
* Extensive training during the initial three-month period
