We’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help shape the future of cardfactory’s retail sector. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making a real impact through people, this could be the perfect role for you.
This role is based in our Wakefield office for around 2-3 times per week. There will also be an occasional need to travel to stores across the UK, so a driving licence is preferred.
You’ll lead the delivery of our people plan across multiple divisions, working closely with senior leaders to drive performance, engagement and change. You’ll monitor HR metrics, analyse trends, and take proactive action to address root causes. You’ll also manage people projects and change initiatives, provide expert guidance on employment law and employee relations with a focus on creating a positive and high-performing culture.
What we’re looking for:
1. Experience as a People/HR Business Partner in a multi-site fast paced retail environment
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
3. CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it
4. Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
5. Ability to work at pace and manage priorities
