National Grid is hiring a People Coordinator. The role is based in our Pegasus office (Castle Donnington), with a hybrid working model.
Job Purpose
This role reports directly to the People Services Manager, providing frontline support to employees and managers. You will handle impactful administration, updates, and contribute ideas to our transformative change journey.
What you'll do
* Provide front-line email and telephony services to answer hire-to-retire queries.
* Assist employees through the employee lifecycle, answering HR-related queries including payroll and benefits.
* Produce standard employment contracts and other contractual documentation.
* Update and manage data within our HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, meeting KPIs, and supporting process improvements.
* Build internal relationships and work effectively with related teams and key customers to ensure seamless service.
* Understand systems such as HRIS (ResourceLink) and ATS (TribePad) for onboarding processes.
* Support the launch of a new team working approach within the People Services Support Desk, focusing on onboarding and lifecycle management.
About you
* Experience in administration and/or HR.
* Knowledge of HR systems like HRIS and ATS.
* Understanding of the employee lifecycle is desirable.
* Proficient in system administration and data analysis.
* Experience in fast-paced environments handling high volumes of tickets.
What you'll get
A competitive salary circa £35,000, dependent on capability.
