DUTY HOTEL MANAGER - THE RETREAT, NEW FOREST
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Management Team at this wellness destination hotel for an experienced individual to join our team at this Hotel and wellness destination.
The ideal candidate will have Duty Manager and Front office experience in a hotel and be capable of working as part of a team.
The position is for 23 hours over three days a week including at least one weekend day per week
Key responsibilities include:
* Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies.
* Work closely with Manager on room revenue management
* Maximise room occupancy.
* Uphold and enforce company policies.
* Address customer issues and complaints
* Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning of facilities
* Oversee security of the facility
Experience and skills:
* Previous experience within hospitality sector
* Duty Manager or similar management role
* Front office/Reception experience preferred
* Excellent Customer Service
* Knowledge of cash management and bookkeeping procedures
* Ability to lead a team
* Strong organisational skills
* Knowledge and experience of facilities maintenance and/or security
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Availability to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
You will work with a small, committed team to deliver an exceptional 'staycation' experience, with a strong focus on healthy living, enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Hinton Admiral Estate, set between the South Coast and the New Forest.
Person specification:
* Educated to at least A level standard –
* Recent experience, of at least one year, in a similar hotel management role
* Front Office Experience
The position pays £17.00 per hour on a self-employed basis
