Wirksworth Junior School is looking for a keen, enthusiastic senior teacher who is willing to work hard to inspire and enthuse young minds. We are looking for a full-time KS2 teacher with TLR to lead either a core subject or SEND across the school. The successful candidate will have experience of leading a core/SEND across the school or willing to attend training (NPQ) to gain these skills.
They will also be given regular non-contact time to complete their leadership role in school.
The successful candidate would be looking to develop these areas through their teaching but also through a whole school culture. The school has a buzz about it, and everybody is working hard to make improvements. The successful person would share this enthusiasm and be committed to getting the best from the children at our school. The successful candidate will have met our school's six core values of respect, trust, fairness, togetherness, aspiration, and perseverance.
