About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join the HR team on a full time basis.This is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of our staff training programme, overseeing all people development activities, and ensuring statutory and regulatory training requirements are consistently met.This role works closely with the senior leadership team and operational managers to ensure a clear understanding of business needs to help propose effective training solutions that are impactful and cost-effective to help drive forward our strategic goals.

You will lead the coordination and implementation of all training and development activity across the organisation, supporting a positive learning culture while ensuring the staff training experience is impactful, positive, engaging, and meaningful. You will use innovative ways to engage staff and deliver training across all roles within the organisation.

About you

You may be a training manager or have been involved in planning or delivering training within an organisation. Ideally, you will bring experience from a health and social care background or have an understanding of wide-ranging training needs across different operational teams. What sets you apart is your ability to see the bigger picture, understanding how quality training directly impacts the standard of care and support we provide to young people.

You are highly organised, pragmatic, and confident in finding creative and cost-effective ways to meet training needs within a tight budget. You have excellent presentation and facilitation skills and take pride in delivering engaging training that ensures participants have a positive experience.

Working pattern

Monday-Friday, 37 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
