Senior Planning Officer
What you’ll do:
* Lead the assessment of complex development and subdivisionapplications
* Represent the City at SAT, DAP, and other forums
* Supervise and mentor Planning Officers
* Provide expert planning advice and contribute to policydevelopment
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning
* Extensive experience in statutory planning andleadership
* Strong understanding of WA planning legislation
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflictresolution skills
Planning Officer
What you’ll do:
* Respond to planning enquiries and provide pre-lodgementadvice
* Assess development and subdivision applications
* Conduct site inspections and prepare reports
* Investigate compliance matters and provide statutoryplanning advice
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or relateddiscipline
* Strong knowledge of statutory planning in a localgovernment context
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills
* Local Government experience and current driver’slicence required
