Overview
University Hospitals Dorset is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Hip Surgery. This 12 month fellowship is supervised by Professor Robert Middleton and Mr Kieran Gallagher. We are principally recruiting for fellows to commence in August 2027 and October 2027, but may consider applicants for future opportunities if deemed suitable at the point of interview. The post concentrates on elective hip surgery and offers experience of cemented and uncemented primary and revision hip surgery. The fellow will develop a specialist interest in hip surgery and applicants should have either completed or be about to complete their training in this area. The unit is involved in clinical research into joint replacement, and the Fellow will be involved in this. There is no out of hours on call commitment.
