Cmm programmer/operator

Job Description

Were looking for a skilled Inspection / CMM Programmer to join our quality team, working on high-performance components including products within our F1 range. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, quality, and documentation throughout the inspection process.


Key Responsibilities


* Carry out general inspection duties as directed by the Principal Inspector and as detailed on Product Inspection Requests (PIRs)
* Verify supplier ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), including dimensional, material, or process-related checks
* Liaise with Engineering, SQA, and Quality teams to resolve product or supplier issues
* Read and interpret engineering drawings to create ISIR documentation
* Use hand measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs
* Program CMM machines (Calypso or PC-DMIS software preferred) for F1 product inspections
* Support the use of 3D scanning and surface finish equipment (experience desirable but not essential)
* Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and documentation
* Uphold high standards of housekeeping and contribute to continuous improvement across the business
* Support other teams with measurement or quality-related issues as required
