Responsibilities
* Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunging toilets, unclogging drains), electrical components (lamps, switches, outlets), and general maintenance tasks (vacuum cleaners, internet devices, TV programming).
* Perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
* Prepare surfaces and perform painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, replace light bulbs and A/C filters, and thoroughly clean the work area after painting or repairs.
* Follow safety policies and procedures for operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
* Maintain knowledge of fire sprinkler and emergency power systems and understand duties related to Fire and Emergency Rescue Teams.
* Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved channels.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to maintain rooms, buildings, and property in good condition.
* Address guests\' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
* Greet guests warmly and personally, using their name when possible.
