Job Title: Administration / Accounts Assistant

Location: Somerset
Salary: £26,000 to £33,000 (depending on experience) plus profit related bonus, 5 weeks holiday and pension and life assurance schemes
Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting an Administration / Accounts Assistant to support the accounts function and day-to-day office operations on a busy site-based environment. This is a varied role suited to someone organised, accurate and confident handling both numbers and people. The company is one of our longest term clients, and is an exemplary employer. This is available due to a promotion, following a retirement - demonstrating the "promote from within" culture.

Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, match to purchase orders and post onto Sage
Prepare bank payments and resolve supplier queries
Record timesheets, sickness, absence, overtime and holiday
Maintain site staff expense records and reconcile claims
Order stationery and PPE
Act as primary receptionist and first point of contact for visitors and calls
Provide general administrative support and management information as required

Requirements
Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Studying, or keen to study, AAT Level 2 (or similar)
Previous office or accounts administration experience
Familiar with accounts payable / receivable processes
Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Highly organised, accurate and able to manage multiple tasks
Professional, reliable and able to work independently

Desirable
Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop within the role
