Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong match if you:
* ✔️ Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* ✔️ Possess a degree in Mathematics or significant subject expertise
* ✔️ Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience highly desirable
* ✔️ Bring strong leadership qualities — from curriculum intent to staff coaching
* ✔️ Are ready to hit the ground running and support consistent routines and high expectations across the department

Role Responsibilities
In this Head of Maths role, you will:
* Lead and develop the Mathematics department with clarity and vision
* Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven improvement
* Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and shared practice
* Drive high expectations, consistent routines, and strong behaviour for learning
* Contribute to whole‑school improvement priorities
* Ensure all students experience engaging, challenging Maths learning
