HMP Parc is a Category B men's private prison for young offenders based in Bridgend, Mid-Glamorgan, Wales.
Your new role
At HMP Parc has an exciting opportunity to join the facilities team as an Electrical engineer. As part of the Works Department, you will be responsible for both reactive repairs and planned and preventative maintenance as well as installation.

Duties include and are not limited to:
1. Deal effectively and safely with breakdowns and fault-finding
2. Following Health and Safety, G4S policies and regulations
3. Be involved in survey inspections for quality control including confined spaces etc
4. All work needs to be recorded and logged.
5. Equipment and services on site where necessary
6. Required to carry out various inspections within the works department, including repairs to various assets, building fabric throughout the prison estate, e.g. furniture, internal/external fixtures and fittings, grounds, access and car parking, etc.
7. Team working with various skill levels
