Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical/Mechanical

Salary: £41,818.21 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at HMP Lewes, a CAT B Mens prison.

HMP Lewes functions like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to operate smoothly. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work will impact prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to maintaining a safe environment.

We provide critical services to the Ministry of Justice and seek facilities management professionals committed to making a difference.
We are four years into our growth, providing on-site solutions to the Prison Service, and seek applicants who:
1. Hold electrical qualifications C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
2. Ideally have C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing certification.
3. Possess a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
4. Hold plumbing qualifications C&G 6035, C&G 6189, and NVQ Level 3 in plumbing or equivalent.
5. Have experience working on electrical, steam, and water systems in commercial or industrial settings.
