We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the student, teachers, and other staff members to support the educational and developmental needs of a child with autism who needs social support. Duties: - Support the student in their academic, social, and emotional development - Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies - Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom - Monitor student progress and document observations as required - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members Requirements: - Experience working with children, especially those with autism or special needs - Knowledge of special education principles and practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: - Certification or coursework in special education or related field As a company, we have a range of services and benefits to support you in your career journey.
