Salary: £33,950 to £40,268 per annum plus 12.5% employer pension, private medical insurance, very flexible employer.

Summary
Great opportunity for someone looking to make the move from an Engineering role into project management! We're looking for someone who can take accountability for the delivery of a portfolio of small projects that will offer a breadth of experience and give exposure to a range of sectors across NCC.
You will get the opportunity to develop both your project management and portfolio management skills and build a solid foundation for a career in project, programme, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities
1. Supporting the successful execution of projects through all phases of the project lifecycle: initiation, requirements capture, planning, execution, and closure.
2. Maintaining up-to-date project plans covering all live and pipeline projects.
3. Producing regular project reports and management information.
4. Ensuring all project management processes are followed, including risk management, change control, documentation, and reporting.
5. Supporting weekly and monthly project review meetings.
6. Ensuring project team members have visibility of booking codes and hours worked.
7. Adhering to NCC quality, health, safety processes and promoting a positive H&S culture.
8. Ensuring project plans are properly resourced for capacity planning.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a relevant engineering role (mechanical/materials in design or manufacture preferred) and seeking to transition into project management.
* Understanding of how small to medium (SME) companies operate.
* Eagerness to learn and develop project management skills.
* Customer-facing experience, supporting engineering teams to determine requirements and scopes of work.
* Strong communication skills to bridge gaps between customers and engineers.
Personal Qualities
Good interpersonal, organizational, facilitation skills, and a proactive attitude.
