About the Role
Reporting directly into our Data Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with leading experts and lead major projects focused on developing, maintaining and improving both existing and new processes for data integration and transformation.
Responsibilities
* Develop, document and maintain robust processes that transform and clean data for live systems and analytical workflows.
* Coordinate larger projects, dividing tasks with colleagues and driving the projects to completion.
* Liaise across the business to elaborate on requirements for new data products and translate them into technical plans.
* Maintain process quality and robustness through coding best practice, including version control, documentation and peer review.
* Investigate and elaborate on data issues to drive continuous improvement in data quality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience with database architecture and querying using SQL.
* Strong background and work experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, R, or others.
* Solid understanding and experience in data transformation and cleaning.
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage and Key Vault.
* Snowflake experience is highly beneficial.
