Job Description:
Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for a professional and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a Moffett licence on behalf of a busy builders merchant based in Hatfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing client known for excellent standards, reliable schedules, and a supportive working environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering building materials to residential and commercial properties while using a rear-mounted Moffett forklift for offloading.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Carry out multi-drop deliveries of building materials to trade and domestic customers
*
Operate a rear-mounted Moffett forklift to safely load/unload goods at delivery sites
*
Complete daily vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness
*
Deliver excellent customer service to site contacts and clients
*
Comply with all transport and health & safety regulations
*
Represent the business professionally at all times
Requirements:
*
Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C)
*
Valid Moffett Licence (or recent, verifiable experience using a Moffett)
*
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*
Good knowledge of local routes and UK road laws
*
Strong communication and customer service skills
*
Builders merchant experience is highly desirable
