As a KS2 Teacher, you will play an essential role in helping children prepare for the academic and social challenges of secondary school. You will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' independence, critical thinking, and love for learning across subjects. Your Responsibilities as a KS2 Teacher: Plan and teach high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum. Prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments (SATs) with appropriate support and challenge. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and maximise pupil progress. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil performance and development. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and participation. Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure cohesive delivery of the curriculum. Build strong communication with parents/carers to support student learning and well-being. Participate actively in professional development, staff meetings, and school events. Requirements for a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification is essential. Experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting in the UK is desirable. In-depth understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks. Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
