The Role – What You’ll Be Doing As a Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications Maintaining Levy standards, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times Ensuring all ingredients are stocked and available across the full menu Supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations during your shift Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistent excellence Training and coaching new team members with a positive, respectful approach Monitoring portion control, waste management, and stock rotation Remaining calm under pressure to ensure seamless service Taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment You’ll act as the backbone of the night operation — leading by example, keeping standards high, and ensuring every plate leaving the kitchen meets expectations. What We’re Looking For Previous experience at Sous Chef level or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness A genuine passion for food and quality presentation Strong communication skills Ability to stay composed and focused in a busy kitchen A team player who inspires and motivates others Safety shoes (essential requirement) Why Join Us?
