GCIL. MA/LD/1.25 Personal Assistant for Mr Ahmed
Mr Ahmed is a warm, friendly and kind‑natured person who is looking for a PA to help support his daily activities. Every day is unique, but activities might include going for walks in the nearby park, attending sessions at a local day centre, or simply spending quality time at home. Other responsibilities include helping Mr Ahmed with his personal care, such as toileting, clothing and eating, and overall being a positive presence in his life.
The right person to work with Mr Ahmed would be someone friendly, active, good at timekeeping and who uses a hands‑on approach. Although not essential, it would also be ideal to find someone who has a car and speaks Urdu. If you have previous experience of working with people who have Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and therefore have the kindness and understanding required, this could be the job for you!
Work takes place in the Southside of Glasgow G42. You would be expected to work 16 hours a week, split over 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday) for 4 hours each day. Ideal shift times would be 10.00 AM – 2.00 PM, but this is negotiable for the right candidate. The hourly rate for this role is £13.60.
