Bid Writer required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently representing a very well established main contractor, based in Essex, who are actively in the market for a Bid Writer to join their preconstruction team.
Our client are a Main contractor who work on a range of refurbishment and fit out projects in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Blue light sector with projects ranging up to 4m.
Key responsibilities for the Bid Writer:
* Research, write and edit clear, concise and engaging content for bids and proposals
* Coordinate input from technical and operational teams
* Work closely with the Bid Coordinator to meet submission deadlines
* Tailor responses to meet client needs, frameworks, and sector requirements
* Maintain and develop a library of case studies and boilerplate content
Requirements for the Bid Writer opportunity:
* Proven experience in bid writing within the construction industry (ideally in Healthcare or Education) or working on Framework contracts
* Strong written communication and storytelling skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* A proactive, collaborative mindset
* Understanding of public sector procurement processes (desirable)
* Bonus points for ChatGPT / AI tool experience
