Job Title: Cooking Tutor
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
As part of our continued growth, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cooking Tutor to join our supportive and close-knit team at Bankside School, part of Options Autism.
This is a rewarding role for someone with a passion for cooking and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people with autism and complex needs—helping them gain practical skills and confidence through hands-on learning in the kitchen.
We require an experienced and qualified Cooking Tutor who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school. An additional strength would be a creative, engaging approach to curriculum design and planning for pupils with SEND.
The successful candidate may have industry experience and experience of working with pupils with a range of complex learning needs. You may have specialist knowledge and experience of working with autistic spectrum condition or pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are looking for an individual who is able to help inspire and engage the students that we serve. Previous experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are also just as important.
Bankside School is an exciting new venture near Hanley Castle, Worcester. Our new specialist school caters for students aged 11-18 years old with Autism, Complex needs and learning disabilities.
