Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + bonuses

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager (or an experienced Deputy looking to step up) to play a pivotal role in shaping a new children’s home environment, where fun, laughter, and meaningful experiences are at the heart of every day.

Key Responsibilities:
*
Lead the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, child-centred care
*
Support, mentor, and develop the staff team to provide consistent, therapeutic, and trauma-informed care
*
Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and all relevant regulations
*
Oversee care planning, placement reviews, and ensure each child’s voice is central to decision-making
*
Work closely with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership, contributing to the strategic growth and direction of the service
What We’re Looking For:
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent/working towards)
*
Significant experience in children’s residential care, ideally within an EBD or therapeutic environment
*
Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches such as PACE (beneficial, though training will be provided)
*
Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills
*
Resilient, empathetic, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
