Role:Wireperson/Wireman(Substation)
Location: Swansea,SA5 7LU
Rate:£34.00 per hour (Weekdays) PAYE ONLY | £51.00 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays)
Hours:07:30 AM 18:00 PM (30 min break)
Duration:04/05/26 - 06/06/26 (34 days)
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in power and distribution projects across the UK, is currently seeking aWireperson/Wiremanto join them on a busysubstation site in Swansea.
As a Wireperson/Wireman, your duties will include:
* Installing and terminating electrical wiring and cabling within a substation environment
* Supporting electrical commissioning activities
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Ensuring all work is carried out to high safety standards
The successful Wireperson/Wireman must have:
* CSCS/ECS card
* Manual Handling
* Emergency First Aid at Work
* EUSR Utility SHEA Power
* Slinger Signaller
* COSHH Awareness
* Fire Safety Awareness
* NG Competent Person Substation (NSI 6&8 Full)
