Store Manager - Pendle Area
Locations covered: Colne, Barnoldswick, Pendle.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week (including weekends) Will consider 32, 36 or 40 hr contracts.
Salary: £52,910 raising to £69,000 over your length of service.
Role Overview
As a Store Manager, you\'ll run a fast‑paced, multi‑million‑pound store operation and lead a high‑performing team. You\'ll bring energy, resilience, and strong leadership skills to create a culture built on high standards, teamwork, and excellent customer service. This is a hands‑on role where your leadership sets the tone for the store.
You will be allocated a primary store within the Pendle Area cluster but will also be expected to cover other stores within the region during holidays, sickness, and peak retail periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Store Operations
o Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the store, maintaining high operational and merchandising standards.
o Manage stock levels, deliveries, ordering, scheduling and ensure operational efficiency.
o Carry out till checks, compliance routines, and store audits to company standards.
* People Leadership & Team Development
o Lead, inspire, and develop a team to deliver exceptional results.
o Support the well being, motivation, and performance of colleagues.
o Foster a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
* Customer Service
o Ensure your store consistently provides friendly, efficient, and high‑quality customer service.
o Resolve customer queries professionally and confidently.
* Financial & Performance Accountability
o Drive sales while effectively managing costs and maximising operational efficiency.
o Achieve performance targets through strong planning, analysis, and decision‑making.
* Multi‑Site Support
o Provide leadership cover across other local stores during: Annual leave, Sickness, Peak trading periods
o Maintain strong productivity and service consistency across the cluster.
