They are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to support projects by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and ethical procurement of goods and services.
Role Purpose To source materials, equipment, and services at the right price, time, quantity, and quality
either directly or on behalf of project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure goods and services for projects
Identify and manage suppliers
Handle purchase orders, contracts, and invoices
Support project teams with procurement planning and reporting
Prepare and evaluate tenders
Use ERP systems to manage procurement data
Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and environmental standards
Respond to internal and external queries
Assist with procurement administration and documentation
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic understanding of contracts and procurement processes
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Detail-oriented and organized
Ethical and professional
Able to work in complex project environments
Customer-focused and collaborative
Qualifications & Experience
A-Level (Maths/Accounting and English) or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain
Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, or EPCM projects
Full UK driving license
