Bennett and Game are currently representing an award-winning architectural practice based in Birmingham, seeking an ambitious Architectural Technician to join their growing team. Specialists within various sectors, our client works on new builds and refurbishments across Transportation, Education, Community, Workplace, and Residential sectors.
Since establishment, our client has developed a tight-knit team of around 30 employees, including technical and design professionals. The successful Architectural Technician will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, assisting with all aspects of the design process. The firm offers flexible working hours, increased holiday entitlement, and opportunities to influence company growth.
* Represent the practice externally through client and consultant liaison.
* Use AutoCAD and Revit daily.
* Work across RIBA Stages 1-6.
* Engage in developments within Residential, Educational, and Commercial sectors.
* Develop technical design approaches and contribute to realizing design concepts.
* Relevant Degree Qualification – Essential.
* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience – Preferred.
* Living within a commutable distance of Birmingham.
* Proficient in AutoCAD – Essential.
* Excellent knowledge of Revit – Highly advantageous.
* Good working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign – Advantageous.
* Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic.
Architectural Technician Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary from £28,000 to £45,000, depending on experience.
* Holiday entitlement: 20 days + Bank Holidays + Christmas shutdown.
