Overview

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive individual to join our UK Team, as a Client Service Advocate, based in Ipswich.

Introduction: Gallagher Re is a leader in the reinsurance industry, providing clients with analytics and insights to support strategic decisions. This role involves translating data into impactful solutions and delivering excellent client service across a varied client portfolio.

Responsibilities

* Act as the key point of contact for clients on query resolution and ensure effective management, understanding and delivery of client servicing needs.
* Manage accounts and coordinate post-placement services, with a holistic understanding of client service requirements from placement through to collection and settlement of claims across multiple classes of business.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, reinsurers, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
* Engage with clients to ensure service needs are understood, expectations are met and the service proposition is maintained. Servicing functions include placement support, premium billing, claims and pro-rata processing.


How You\'ll Make An Impact

* Serve as the point of contact to clients, brokers, reinsurers, local overseas offices and management for assigned accounts.
* Provide clear, accurate, timely and relevant material (including MI) as required by stakeholders.
* Understand client business and reinsurance programs, liaising with placement brokers to capture specific requirements.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with processing handlers and client service managers to deliver exceptional service and client knowledge.
* Maintain and improve client relationships by delivering expectations and service needs promptly.
* Monitor program experience for assigned clients, identifying anomalies and escalating concerns as appropriate.
* Coordinate and manage all query resolutions; monitor and discuss key financial metrics with clients.
* Collaborate with the broking team to keep them informed of client service issues and escalate developing situations as needed.
* Travel to meet clients, reinsurers or other Gallagher Re offices as required, with meeting notes and follow-up actions completed.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, internal policies and Gallagher Re best practices.
* Operate within standard processes and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain technical knowledge of reinsurance servicing functions and multiple classes of business.


About You

* Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
* CII qualifications or studying towards are helpful.
* Experience in a similar role within insurance or reinsurance is essential.
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office).
* Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
* Attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritise.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
