Senior Solicitor - Family Law (All-Rounder) - Cheltenham - 6-10 Years PQE

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)
A dynamic and expanding law firm is opening new offices in Cheltenham in 2026 and is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor with 6-10 years' post-qualification experience to lead and build the practice. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark, establish a new office, and grow a team from the ground up.
The Role
* Handling a full range of family law matters (excluding legal aid).
* Leading the development of a new office and building a client base.
* Driving business development initiatives and shaping the practice.
* Managing and supervising junior colleagues.
* Delivering high-quality client service and maintaining professional standards.
* Contributing to the growth of the firm through leadership and innovation.
* Opportunity to bring your own paralegal to support you in building the practice.
Candidate Requirements
* 6-10 years PQE in family law, with broad all-rounder experience.
* Strong technical and advocacy skills.
* Proven ability to manage matters independently and supervise others.
* Excellent business development skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Motivation, organisation, and a proactive approach to building a practice.
* Excellent communication and client care skills.
