About the role
As a Depot Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting compliance across all operational and administrative areas at our Pembroke Road Depot. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, implementing, and monitoring compliance and assurance procedures.
2. Conducting audits and inspections, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions.
3. Preparing compliance reports and summaries for management and regulatory bodies.
4. Investigating incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
5. Providing training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements.
6. Supporting Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection requests.
7. Liaising with internal departments, external regulators, and service providers.
8. Maintaining accurate financial and operational records to support audit readiness.
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the continuous enhancement of compliance systems.
Fixed
As a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.
About you
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive candidate for the Depot Compliance role. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting audits and ensuring adherence to company policies. They should be highly organised, able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is desirable, as the role involves preparing reports, analysing data, and maintaining accurate documentation.
