An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and conscientious Administration Officer / Support Secretary to join our admin team within Child and Family Psychology and Therapies Service.
We are looking for someone with proven excellent administration, communication and IT skills. You must have a good telephone manner with good organisational skills, flexible approach to meet the needs of the service and be able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
A good standard of GCSE education (Grades A-C) and a good knowledge of Microsoft Packages is essential.
You must have an understanding of the principles of confidentiality due to nature of work. A welcoming manner is essential as you will have direct contact with families and health professionals. This post is office based.
Main duties of the job
The Main Duties Of The Role Include
Typing of letters, reports and other correspondence
To greet families and professionals on reception
To receive telephone calls and manage the telephone enquiries
To exercise judgement when dealing with enquiries
To register referrals and process information on our systems.
Attend meetings and take minutes
Stationery orders as required.
Other duties relevant to post as required by line manager.
