As a Generator Engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring our electrical equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing the opportunity to develop your technical skills, engage in continuous training, and tackle new challenges daily.
What you'll do:
1. Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators and a variety of other equipment.
2. Installation and testing of generator sets to applications.
3. Deliver outstanding technical support and customer service to our clients.
4. Diagnose faults and conduct preventative maintenance.
5. Conduct on-site servicing and repairs throughout Ireland, including event setup.
6. Ensure all job and service records are completed accurately and promptly.
7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
What you'll need:
1. Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, particularly with electrical faults.
2. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
3. Relevant electrical/electronic qualification and extensive electrical knowledge.
4. Mechanical skills, with experience in hydraulics and mechanics. Level 3 mechanical qualification is a plus.
5. Previous experience as an industrial electrician or working with generators.
6. Previous experience in control panel building.
7. Full driving licence.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm & Friday 7:30am - 4pm (please note, an on-call rota will be in place, and out-of-hours support may be required)
